Message from the Directors

Welcome to the Confucius Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam.

Established in January 2013 through cooperation between the University of Dar es Salaam and Zhejiang Normal University, the Institute has grown into an important platform for Chinese language education, academic exchange, and cultural engagement between Tanzania and China.

Our mission is to provide high quality Chinese language education, promote mutual understanding, and strengthen educational and people to people connections between our two countries. Over the years, the Institute has offered Chinese language courses at different levels, supported degree programmes, administered Chinese language proficiency examinations, and organised a wide range of academic and cultural activities....
